RESEARCH

The Professional Research Pool (PRP) for Criminal Justice Science is a place for researchers and practitioners to come together to test and employ best practices within the criminal justice field. Through our own research (McClure & Kurt-Hilditch, 2017), we have discovered than criminal justice practitioners (e.g., law enforcement officers) have never been asked to participate in research, but are interested in participating and contributing to evidence-based practices. Dr. McClure and Dr. Kurt-Hilditch created a platform through the PRP in which they can expand the connections between scientists and practitioners for research opportunities. If you have ideas for research but don’t necessarily have the platform to conduct it, reach out to the PRP team for help. We are always looking for research projects that aim to develop the best practices in the criminal justice system.
